I’ve decide to keep a journal of the next few weeks. What happens and what we find out could be very important, and I want to make sure that I remember it all.
Currently Jevanna and myself are camped at the side of the road just North of Southshore. So far we have been lucky and have encountered no trouble. Both of us seem to be distracted. My mind is still with Galvinoth, with our farewell last night. I wish he could have come with us, but it wasn’t possible.
I must keep my mind on the mission ahead. We have to find out how those that are dead are being brought back. So far we have only found out about this happening to three humans, but this could also be occurring with the other races. If this is possible, then no matter how remote the chance, I have to make sure that it doesn’t happen to my father or Jev’s brother. If it does, then I won’t hesitate to put them back in the grave. Something that Galvinoth said makes me believe that Jev wants her brother back alive and well, but I cannot allow that. After what he did, the lives he cost, I want him to suffer for eternity.
Jev is also writing a journal. She is my best friend and I love her, but I can’t say that I trust her. I think something might have happened between her and Anaïs, which confuses me as I thought Jev was interested in Tyrelle. I hope that she knows what she’s doing. I don’t want her to hurt anyone else. I wish we knew what had happened to Nerina. She was happy with Nerina.
Later - Seems I spoke too soon when I said there was no trouble. We were attacked by three footpads. We dealt with two of them and sent the third on his way with his tail between his legs.
I can’t sleep. Tomorrow we meet up with my contact in the Scarlet Crusade. I wish I could do this some other way than by using my looks. I worry because I’ve never been very good at lying. I leave that to Jev.
